Department of maintenance and storage of collections

Provides:

open access to printed and electronic resources of the LIC for library users;
specialised spaces for individual and cooperative work of users.

Performs:

registration of users in the library, issuance of electronic permanent or single use library card;
consulting users and providing practical assistance in the selection of information resources for scientific and educational activities in the electronic catalogue, open access collections or on the Internet;
fulfilment of all types of enquiries;
provision of all types of documents upon users' requests;
document reproduction services;
organising thematic and information exhibitions, conducting literature reviews;
group trainings (upon request) of students in effective information retrieval, the rules of making reference lists, the preparation of abstracts, term papers and graduation theses;
organising and conducting information and cultural-educational events according to the LIC work plan.
